Eligible renters may receive up to $750 toward pet deposit fees when adopting one or more pets from San Antonio Animal Care Services. This grant-funded pilot program is offered by Neighborhood Housing Services of San Antonio in partnership with the City of San Antonio.

To be eligible, applicants must:

​

• Live within San Antonio’s Inner City Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ)

• Adopt one or more pets from San Antonio Animal Care Services

• Demonstrate financial need

• Be the primary leaseholder of their rental residence
