Emergency Care Fund

AAPAW has established an Emergency Care Fund to help pay for veterinarian bills in hardship situations involving critical care of animals. Your contributions to this fund will be earmarked specifically for this purpose and will be graciously appreciated. Please use the Donate button below for contributions to this fund.

Urgent Notice!

This young injured Dalmatian was found by a Good Samaritan at Lackland ISD with an injured leg and mange. A message was sent and cross-posted for rescue assistance and a rescue group was able to help catch the dog and transport her to a vet for evaluation AND also find a family willing to adopt this dog, now named India!

The new owners have contributed $500 toward India's surgery and care, but the injury to its leg is complicated and will cost upwards of $2000 and they are unable to cover the entire expense. The break is between the shoulder and elbow. We only have this weekend to raise the funds to get India the surgery and care she needs.
