I would like to become a member of the Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW). I understand that, unless I cancel my membership, I will be contacted annually with renewal choices (unless joining as a lifetime member).
I declare that I have never been committed, been charged with, or convicted of any act of animal cruelty or neglect. If applying as an Animal Welfare Organization, I/We agree to abide by the Covenants of Animal Welfare Organizations.
Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax deductible if you itemize your deductions.
We will not share or sell any of your personal information to any other company or entity.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for your membership to be processed if submitted by mail and 7-10 days if submitted electronically and payments submitted via PayPal.

Covenants of Animal Welfare Organization (AWO) Membership
One of the objectives of AAPAW is to support organizations that follow reasonable standard guidelines of proper animal care and commonly accepted practices of animal welfare ethical conduct.
Animal welfare organizations that desire recognition and benefits of AAPAW membership must adhere to the following rules, regulations, and ethical standards:
- Apply for and be accepted for membership and pay annual dues as noticed.
- Regularly participate in AAPAW activities and events including, but not limited to, adoption events, publicity campaigns, community outreach or education programs, and spay/neuter support.
- Submit to AAPAW review at least annually, either on or off premises, relative to adherence to reasonable standard guidelines of proper animal care and commonly accepted practices of animal welfare and ethical conduct.
- Animal welfare organization members must comply with all AAPAW published best practices and standards of operations and membership rules and regulations.
- Animal welfare organization members must maintain current and accurate information on the AAPAW website consistent with all other AAPAW rules and regulations.
- Interact respectfully and courteously in all communications and activities with other AAPAW members and the public in general.
- Be respectful and cooperative in dealing with AAPAW Board, members, officers, and other AAPAW representatives.
AAPAW Animal Welfare Organization (AWO) Membership Procedures
- AAPAW reserves the right to deny AWO membership with reasonable cause and at AAPAW’s sole discretion.
- AAPAW, in its sole discretion, may place AWO members on suspended or moderated status, with reasonable cause.
- Dues not paid within 30 days of due date are grounds for termination of membership.
I/We hereby agree to accept and abide by the foregoing rules and regulations as a precondition to AAPAW membership.
