What
Celebrate Adopt a Shelter Pet Month. Join a host of animal welfare groups bringing out a world of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens. Did you know that when you adopt a shelter pet, you save others? It frees up space for another pet in need. Every pet available for adoption at Saturday's event will already be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and some will also be micro-chipped.

How
Members
Eligible animal welfare shelters and rescue groups must be approved AAPAW members. If your nonprofit organization would like to participate but is not yet a member of AAPAW, please grab the member application and email it to members@aapaw.org. After your membership is approved, please sign up for the event at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AAPAW/database?method=reportRows&tbl=5. Note that AAPAW members must also join the Yahoo group for AAPAW at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AAPAW/.

Rules for Participating in the October 17, 2009 Super Adoption Event
Vendors
Animal-friendly businesses are welcome to participate in the event! The fee for a booth space is an economical $50. Call the event coordinator, Chris Montgomery, to sign up or grab the Vendor Registration form and email it to chrisncats@gmail.com.
